Project
Share history
Redesign the Sharehistory brand identity in order to increase user engagement with the website.
Sharehistory is a unique website resource, which allows users to upload photos and documents from the past. Whilst the website had a number of interested users, they were not fully engaged or actively participating. The website needed a complete brand identity overhaul in order to make it an engaging and memorable resource.
I designed a logo featuring an escutcheon and hand-drawn S letterform, which gave connotations of history and heritage. A full brand identity was created by adapting and expanding the shield shape and utilising other contrasting S letterforms. Application of the identity included a set of website templates and a comprehensive brand guidelines handbook.
